Okay I absolutely love this class...but the teacher? Yea a little dense. She 'planned' a debate about, and I kid you not, the right of mexico's immagration.
Oh holy god(s) above, did that ever open a can of worms!
Aparently this 'debate' has been going on sense last year in my school, whither in class or not, or between teachers and students. Tells you how much I pay attiontion to gossip...
Anyway by the end of the class everyone was, well not 'shouting' but not exactly talking normally either. Let me tell you, if my class is a glimpse the future of America I don't want to stick around to see it...
Forget fighting other countrys we'll fight eachother for a hundred years and still not solve anything...
Me?...I mostly twiched randomly and shifted in my seat trying to a) hide or b) hide my laugher.

| Me, I'm good at debating and arguing my case, because a) I am smarter than most b) I wouldn't be saying it if I didn't study up on it and know my facts and have a thorough debate/case c) I am a genius, do not doubt the power of my mind when I am serious d) Point in case is that I have hard facts and theories and whatnot backing me up and others generally pull theirs out of their ass. And the key to making people shut up and feel stupid when you don't know what you're talking about is: Use big words, then use small words that mean the same thing, and act like you know what you're talking about and look them in the freakin eyes as you say it, it psyches them out. Or actually do the studying and shiznit. Either way. XD |
